Domaine de Trévallon 

Domaine de Trévallon  is the latest addition to our list. We now have an allocation from this great domaine on the north-facing limestone slope of the Alpilles hills near St. Rémy de Provence.
Eloi and Floriane Durrbach have 17 hectares, of which 15ha are divided between Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah for the red and 2ha are planted with 45% each of Marsanne and Roussanne and 10% Chardonnay.

Cabernet Sauvignon was planted in the area before the phylloxera and in the right conditions (which are very right here!) marries  well with the Syrah, giving a wine with the class of a great Bordeaux, the aromatic warmth of a fine southern Rhône and an attractive hint of peppery northern Rhône Syrah.
