Pierre Ferraud & Fils, a proudly independent family firm, was founded in 1882 and is now run by Yves-Dominique and Jean-Michel Ferraud, whose mother is from the Vincent family of Château Fuissé. This means they are also particularly well placed to offer white wines from the Mâconnais. They supervise vinification from the moment the grapes are picked and bring the young wines from the domaines to their cellars in Belleville as early as possible to ensure the best élevage.
With the growing consumer trend against big, bold high-alcohol wines , we believe that the wines of Beaujolais will begin to find a new and increasing fan base.
